Finally got to Portillo's in Scottsdale for the first time today.
The question is, "What's the big deal?"
I was underwhelmed.
Had an Italian Beef with sweet peppers and it was OK but nothing outstanding.
The Frozen Fries were tasteless.
I'll go back and try the Hot Dogs, but I won't be buying any fries nor will I be in any big rush to do so.
The one in Tempe is open now and has taken some pressure off of this location but there were still a lot of people in here at 2 PM on a Saturday afternoon.
Mostly older Chicago Refugee's.
Go Figure????
